Subject: Glens Falls Symphony Children’s Chorus 2010-2011 Season
Hello Colleagues and Friends,
As we move from the relaxing days of August to the busy weeks of September, I want you to know that there is still the opportunity for your students to be part of our exciting 2010-2011 season.
On Saturday, September 11, we are hosting an Applebee’s Breakfast from 8:00-10:00am. This community favorite is our biggest fundraising event of the year! Tickets are $5.00 per person.
Our registration and first rehearsal will be held on Monday, September 13. Rehearsals are held at the First Presbyterian Church of Glens Falls. Our Holiday Festival Chorus will rehearse from 4:00-5:30pm, while the Glens Falls Symphony Children’s Chorus will rehearse until 6:00pm. This year we’ve added some venues in the community and will again perform a full concert in May with guest musicians from the Glens Falls Symphony. Tuition is $60 per year, or $30 per semester.
Feel free to pass this information to any students you think are solid candidates for the chorus. It is NOT necessary to send us names at this time.
THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER IS MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 20!!! PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR STUDENTS TO ATTEND THE FIRST REHEARSAL TO REGISTER!
