WELCOME TO THE 2022/2023 SEASONWe return to our home at Glens Falls High School to be with you once again. Our season is designed for everyone in our community: the lover of classics will be thrilled with the Brahms violin concerto and folks who love new music will be energized by the premiere of music we co-commissioned from Pulitzer- and Grammy-winning composer Jennifer Higdon. Come be inspired by our region’s youth as young voices light up in the Shining Lights Holiday Pops concert, and area string students join the orchestra in the Inspiring Strings Side-by-Side concert. We finish the season with a concert of classic Broadway —America’s music loved around the world. We invite you to join us in a season that celebrates the special sound of our Glens Falls Symphony Orchestra.

Having served as the Music Director of the Glens Falls Symphony since 2000, Charles Peltz is a proud resident of our vibrant Glens Falls community. Dividing his time between Glens Falls and Boston, where he is Director of Wind Ensembles at the New England Conservatory of Music, Maestro Peltz brings to Glens Falls a wealth of musical expertise.
